The Elmira & District Rod and Gun Club takes privacy seriously. The information provided on to us will be kept confidential and secure to the best of our ability.
Information you provide us not be shared with third party services without your consent except in order to safely and securely fulfill the duties as set out by the roles and responsibilities of the executive membership and their positions. Additionally, information may be required to be disseminated to law enforcement and/or, government bodies such as the Chief Firearms Officer in the event of an audit, investigation, or other lawful act in which disclosure of membership information is required.
By providing your name and email address, unless expressly indicated on your application and/or renewal form(s) under Declaration, you agree to the use of this information in the distribution of regular electronic messaging in the form of newsletters, event information, and other communications from the executive to the membership whole. You have the right to opt-out of these communications at any time, and if available, you may also tailor the communications you wish to receive to reduce the amount of electronic communication we send to you. You cannot opt-out of important communications which expressly provide information to the operation of the club, directives, adjustments to rules and regulations or notifications of important events such as membership renewal reminders.
If available, additional services may be provided to members of the club that may alter the terms of this policy. If so, you will be presented with the ability to opt-in to these services, and as such the new policy will take effect immediately.
Additionally, you grant the executive of the Elmira & District Rod and Gun Club the authority to alter this policy at any time without prior notice. At such time the policy is altered, you will be provided a copy of the new policy through email or other correspondence as necessary.
